"I look into the world with a cheerful smile". That's the theme that became a call on national children day's event, "One Day for Children" which be held on last Thursday (7/22) at social ministries, in order to commemorate the National Children Day 2010.

World Vision Indonesia invited to this event as social ministries' significant partner. In order to commemorate the national children day, Director General of Social Services and Rehabilitation, Makmur Sanusi, Ph. D. also participated and give some speeches in this event.

He said that even though the government had issued the Law No. 23 of 2002 on Child Protection, the violence against children still happen up until now. Enforcement of children rights must be held by all levels of society.

Stand on his visit to World Vision Indonesia, who becomes partners of social ministry, he appreciated the contribution that has been provided by World Vision Indonesia in this event in the form of distribution of magazines and books about the enforcement of children's rights and disaster mitigation.

World Vision Indonesia opened the booth with decorated by kites that contain exclamation Indonesia children's rights made by the participants of the National Young Leadership Forum (Forum Pemimpin Muda Nasional-FPMN).

The children seemed so enthusiastic when they read and accept the magazines and comics, even they were quite taken aback when getting comics and magazines are provided free of charge.
